POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, creating, implementing and managing innovative training and development that supports Exhibitor Services (ES).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Talent Development, management and subject matter experts to gain knowledge of work situation requiring training.

  • Collaborate with Talent Development to formulate and execute lesson plans and determine instructional methods based on results of training needs analysis including individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstration and performance, meetings or workshops.

  • Select or develop teaching aids, such as training handouts, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids and tutorials.

  • Travel to business locations, train employees, and provide ES leadership with relevant insights.

  • Schedule courses, track attendance, conduct surveys and evaluations, set-up room, and prepare other items related to the training program as required.

  • Implement evaluation metrics to measure impact of training efforts.

  • Identify performance gaps through analyzing metrics and trainee performance (post training).

  • Create monthly reports to identify training utilization and missed training opportunities.

  • Develop task breakdowns and on-the-job training plans for all positions.

  • Contribute to the execution of future applications.

  • Stay current on innovative learning practices through self-development and training.

  • Assist with determining training budgets for all ES training programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma or GED required / equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Two (2) or more years of Freeman Exhibitor Services

  • TSS, and FOL experience preferred.

  • Strong aptitude to interpret system requirements and logic.

  • Ability to take new and/or existing processes through process improvements

  • Proven proficient use of PC-based software applications including MS Office and MS Project

  • Must be extremely detail oriented with a sense of urgency & initiative

  • Ability to successfully communicate and present to all levels of the business.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects
