About the job

Experience a winning team and a winning business as a Product Marketing Engineer with Texas Instruments (TI). In this role, the PME is a valued team member responsible for managing a product portfolio to drive the revenue growth of existing (EPGI) and new products (NPGI), interfacing directly with customers to gain knowledge and share, and to plan and execute a wide range of product marketing activities to drive business growth, such as:

  • Maintaining a “Best In Class” web presence

  • Developing ESP collateral, product launches, campaigns, and Go-to-Market strategies

  • Directly engaging with top customers and field sales

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop effective marketing strategies through in depth knowledge of market landscapes, customer trends and competitor offerings.

  • Lead business development, drive revenue growth, and sponsor new product developments in target end equipment

  • Become a subject-matter expert on Precision ADCs

  • Review competitive landscape and build strategies to address product gaps

  • Drive key marketing activities during life cycle of new product development (samples, , product launch, release-to-market)

  • Own content creation strategy in collaboration with Applications & Systems teams

  • Generate compelling products and portfolio messaging and drive web strategy in collaboration with Digital Marketing team

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers

  • Plan, manage, and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (pre-release, release and post-release)

  • Collaborate and communicate the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - pricing, marketing campaign, internet marketing, launch marketing

  • Collaborate with internal pricing team to create an effective portfolio pricing strategy

  • Coordinate inventory management and provide accurate forecasting in collaboration in finance and operation teams

  • Track, analyze and convert pending opportunities to drive design wins

  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering & Marketing (SEM) and regional sales teams to scale identification (ID) & WIN metrics


Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

  • 5 years of relevant experience

  • Strategic thinker with outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of industrial, automotive and personal electronics markets

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships, both inside and outside of the company

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking to draw meaningful conclusions from complex data sets

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate customer problems, system level challenges and key value proposition

  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable handling multiple ongoing projects with varying priorities, deliverables, and deadlines

  • Expected travel is 20-30% both domestically and internationally
