The Mobile Developer designs and develops native mobile applications to include requirements gathering, prototyping, coding, unit testing, and documentation. The Mobile Developer has hands-on development experience in mobile application design, development, testing and deployment in both consumer and enterprise based applications, including strong knowledge of objective-c/swift and/or java. The Mobile Developer conducts the design and implementation of back end databases, including creation and modifications of tables, views, and stored procedures within SQL server.

The Mobile Developer job duties also include, but are not limited to:

Developing and consuming restful web services to fetch data for mobile front end and parsing the XML and JSON response using different parsers. Exhibit a proactive work style, including strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Responsible for creating and developing cutting-edge mobile applications on Android, including: Translation of requirements into functional specifications (screen designs, pseudo code, system flow) Development and maintenance of mobile applications, as well as mobile optimized web applications. Facilitates and implements architecture, design, and development efforts of new applications. Nice to haves are React Native, Kotlin, and Java Responsible for analyzing requirements, determining technical approach & technical design, determining effort, and providing project deliverables by agreed upon dates. Troubleshoots performance issues on mobile applications and in application back-ends & databases. Design and build advanced consumer applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional development experience. 3 years of which they were doing mobile development.

Candidate will create and support ejected apps that use both Kotlin and ReactNative code. An ideal candidate will either have familiarity with ReactNative or be eagerly willing to learn ReactNative


Experience in using Android Studio or IntelliJ IDE Experience in using a distributed source code repository such as Git Experience with a Unit Testing Framework such as Junit


Proficient with Kotlin, familiar with React Native a plus Proficient with the Android SDK and the Android application lifecycle. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle Excellent team working skills is a must. Solid understanding of common software design patterns and SOLID principles.

The ideal Android Mobile Developer will hold a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience. Must work well in a Team Environment. The Mobile Developer role will possess knowledge of .NET and/or JAVA and be able to demonstrate proficiency with object-oriented design methodology. The ideal candidate for the Mobile Developer role will also possess knowledge of responsive web design, social, and other digital platform experiences (jQuery/JavaScript/HTML/HTML5/CSS/CSS3).
