WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Structural Engineer for our Dallas office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently on both conventional and innovative design assignments

  • Lead a segment of a major project

  • Collaborate with the project team including various disciplines to deliver projects

  • Be involved in pursuits of traditional TxDOT PS&E projects and D/B projects

  • Participate in meetings with clients as a task leader

  • Lead and mentor younger staff

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • M.S. in Civil Engineering

  • Texas PE license

  • 10 years of experience in structural/bridge design

  • TxDOT bridge project experience

  • Good verbal and writing communication skills

  • Experience with the following software is preferred: PGSuper, RC-Pier, BGS, MatchCAD, Microstation

  • Ability to work in this country immediately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Finite element modeling experience
