Our Dallas Accounting Team is currently seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager.
Record and reconcile the Company’s equity compensation plans and associated intercompany transactions
Preparation of Company’s equity compensation plans sections of the quarterly SEC Forms 10-Q and 8-K (earnings release) and annual Form 10-K in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
Review financial disclosures in the annual report, proxy and other related filings
Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings
Participate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for financial reporting activities, and their continuous improvement process including automation and acceleration
Participate in cross functional projects and assist other functions with financial reporting and disclosure matters
Prepare monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare, prepaid amortization schedules and monthly amortization journal entries
Prepares ad hoc reports and analyses, as requested
All duties performed are in compliance with GAAP, Company policies and procedures, SEC reporting requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements
Responsible for reading, understanding, and following the applicable process narratives pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
Provide support as needed to external auditors
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
10 yearsexperience in Public Accounting
Experience with a large ERP system required, Oracle preferred
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management
Exposure to consolidations, currency translation, and international accounting and reporting issues
Ability to collaborate with others
At least 10 years of relevant experience in a commercial business environment
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and external auditors
Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment, and prioritize competing priorities
Technical knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and controls
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills
