Our Dallas Accounting Team is currently seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile the Company’s equity compensation plans and associated intercompany transactions

  • Preparation of Company’s equity compensation plans sections of the quarterly SEC Forms 10-Q and 8-K (earnings release) and annual Form 10-K in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements

  • Review financial disclosures in the annual report, proxy and other related filings

  • Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for financial reporting activities, and their continuous improvement process including automation and acceleration

  • Participate in cross functional projects and assist other functions with financial reporting and disclosure matters

  • Prepare monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Prepare, prepaid amortization schedules and monthly amortization journal entries

  • Prepares ad hoc reports and analyses, as requested

  • All duties performed are in compliance with GAAP, Company policies and procedures, SEC reporting requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements

  • Responsible for reading, understanding, and following the applicable process narratives pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements

  • Provide support as needed to external auditors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Licensed CPA

  • 10 yearsexperience in Public Accounting

  • Experience with a large ERP system required, Oracle preferred

  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management

  • Exposure to consolidations, currency translation, and international accounting and reporting issues

  • Ability to collaborate with others

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a commercial business environment

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and external auditors

  • Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment, and prioritize competing priorities

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and controls

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills
