JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking - CB Transformational Team - Finance Associate in Dallas, Texas

The Financial Associate within the Commercial Banking Finance and Business Management team is responsible for providing financial reporting and analytical support within the CB Transformation Finance group. This includes assisting with the monthly forecast and annual plan with an emphasis on expenses and headcount, as well as providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required. This role requires the ability to coordinate activities and responses across a variety of teams, interacting extensively with the CB Transformation leads. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.


  • Assist in preparation of reporting packages to communicate business results in a transparent and concise manner to all constituents

  • Proactively analyze financial results, trends, research issues, and provide variance commentary

  • Ability to package and present projections, performance trends and outlooks in an executive format

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for partnering with various levels of the organization

  • Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely Quarterly Business Review and Monthly Executive Management Reporting materials

  • Generate monthly, annual, and multi-year forecasting

  • Tracking and reporting of various project initiatives

  • Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5-7+ years in financial analysis, operational analysis or related banking experience

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills; aptitude to drive reporting and projects individually and with a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - must have the ability to build strong working relationships with the management team and team members within the business

  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

  • Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information

  • Experienced user of Essbase and proficiency in SAP is a plus

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPRO
