Istation Accounts Receivable Senior Staff Accountant in Dallas, Texas
As the Accounts Receivable Senior Staff Accountant, you will help ensure customers are properly billed and work with customers and other departments to ensure amounts are collected in a timely manner.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Supporting the company in optimizing Financial Force and financial transactions by performing reconciliations of payments, customer accounts and the general ledger.
Communicating discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates.
Assisting in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
Maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
Preparing reporting and analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
Responding to inquiries from the Sales teams, customers and other Finance team members.

Required Experience
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
2-3 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable or accounting
Working experience of accounts receivable principles and best practices
Experience with general ledger accounting and month/ year closing processes
