JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

Team Leader will assist the supervisor in guiding the team towards the accomplishment of the departments AOP goals in productivity, safety, quality, food product safety, and continuous improvement. Through the use of process metrics they will measure team performance, as well as lead the team improvement efforts. This position will be required a flexible work schedule as well as the ability to work overtime. The job responsibilities in this position description are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned. This position will also be required to work overtime.

Essential Functions:

  • Managing Labor: Ensure the site is staffed in accordance with standard manning requirement. Work with site LTOs to ensure the site employees have the proper skills required to meet performance requirements.

  • Role of Dispatcher, LES coordinator, Rework Lead, all duties specify in the Dispatch procedure manual.

  • Managing Direct Ship/YDLB loads: Ensure that direct shipments and YDLB loads comply with requirements

  • Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.

  • Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.

  • Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.

  • Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.

  • Auditing Customer Loads: Perform periodic load auditing to ensure compliance with logistics policies and procedures.

Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload inbound shipments, shuttles and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.

  • Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.

  • Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.

  • Equipment: Ability to use a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. Use radio frequency equipment as required. Maintain the facility‚Äôs equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to successfully perform all safety processes, certificate in Dispatch, PINC, Rework and all SAP functions.

  • Must meet the eligibility requirements as listed in the Pactiv Job Posting Policy (See employee handbook)

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the Job Profile and Medical Assessment requirements for the position
