Kubra Mail Insert/Sort Operator in Coppell, Texas
Our office in Coppell, TX is looking for two hardworking and reliable Sort Operators to join our team. We have two shifts available:
Monday-Friday 1st (mornings) from 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Sunday-Thursday 3rd (overnights) from 11:00PM - 7:30AM
As a Sorter, you will work in our production environment to ensure that all print jobs and materials are folded, inserted and completed by client deadlines.
Fill our paperwork for the USPS for jobs processed
Process jobs using Postal Doc Sort Wizard to generate paperwork
Ensure & assist in helping to keep the production area clean and free of clutter
Ensure & assist in restocking area for trays, sleeves & fix defective tray labels
Ensure & assist in operating print/insert machinery, keeping mail processing through the sorter as efficiently & accurately as possible
Ensure & assist in sweeper keeping mail flowing by keeping pockets clear of mail
Positive communication including following directions
Assist in traying of mail to meet USPS requirements
Help maintain an orderly desk and shelving and top of sorter shelves
Organize work by machine & help prioritize when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Reliable – you are punctual for your scheduled shifts, have a great attendance record and are flexible to work Overtime when required
A Team Player – you enjoy working as part of a team to meet daily production volumes and requirements for client jobs
A great communicator – you communicate professionally, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and organized – you are able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
1-2 years of experience operating mail sorting equipment, or similar machinery
Technical knowledge of machinery – you know your way around equipment and can perform general maintenance and troubleshooting of any machine issues
Ability to perform manual labor – lifting up to 25-30 lbs. may be required
High school diploma preferred, but not required
