Program/Client Services Manager

Because of this mindset we are experiencing unprecedented growth and are seeking a Program Manager/Client Services Manager to lead a highly innovative world-class merchandising and client services program. The position is based in Dallas, Texas.

The Program Manager/Client Services Manager is responsible for all client services, financial and operations facets of the program, including direct client relations with the assigned customer. In this role the incumbent will drive the operations of multiple merchandising programs and ultimately be responsible for the success of the client’s programs, management team and staff. The manager is responsible for the ensuring open, transparent and continuous communication between the client’s stakeholders and the supplier. Specific duties include:

  • Work closely (daily interaction) with assigned US business unit within a major global client to understand their goals and objectives, create operational plans to support client initiatives and implement sustainable programs to achieve client expectations

  • Actively monitor and assess on-going client service, financial and field staff performance and compares results against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – proactively introduces needed solutions to ensure program’s success and sustainability

  • Work with leadership team and internal support resources to ensure all client services are aligned to deliver the “perfect visit” – anticipates potential issues, develops and maintains contingency plans and proactively communicates to all responsible parties

  • Manages in-stock and replenishment process to meet client’s expectations – plans and deploys re-merchandising activities and ensures staff and supplies are available to meet deadlines set by client

  • Leads a team of dedicated, experienced and talented staff, builds a culture of engagement and manages through consistent, professional communication and adherence to best operational practices.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years related experience

  • Five or more years of success in developing and managing senior level client relationships, with proven leadership and responsibilities within a retail environment

  • Three or more years retail operations experience supervising large national teams in the US – results oriented with strong attention to detail and analytical in nature

  • Experience within a Merchandising Service Organization required

  • Extensive knowledge and use of the iOS platform and related products are required

  • Strategic and innovator thinker, with problem solving skills capable of succeeding in a dynamic and diverse environment

  • Strong understanding of P&Ls, key performance indicators (KPIs) and natural insights technology

  • Strong interpersonal, process planning, prioritization and organizational skills, with exceptional communications skills to proactively keep constituents informed
