Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking for a New Business Developer - to identify and generate new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning and relationship building.

Attend networking events, ie., Chamber functions, breakfast, after hours events.

Responsibilities:

Perform appropriate prospecting and screening activities to identify qualified prospects for new business development. Use consultative sales strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory.

Identify and generate new business. Grow the Client base and build relationships with clients. The New Business Developer is accountable for focusing on and generating business through new sales. Develop and implement effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives for accounts. Perform appropriate prospecting and screening activities to identify qualified prospects for new business development. Establish and maintain good public relations and networking within the community to develop new business. Mark formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts. Collaborate with internal service staff to ensure that accounts sold are consistent with service resources and candidate pool. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Spherion Staffing.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

Sales, cold calls, marketing, ability to network and grow business. Must be able to communicate sales orders effectively to the rest of the operational team. Must occasionally participate in inside sales activities. Must assist

recruitment team when necessary to meet sales expectations. Must conduct candidate marketing activities when new sales opportunities are involved.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years previous Sales experience with B2B, Networking, Client Sales and relationship building.
