Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in related field and experience in Plant Molecular Biology and Cotton Genomics.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to design and perform experiments independently, ability to communicate well, ability to write draft of the manuscripts. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Cotton functional genomics

GRANT FUNDED POSITION

Job Responsibilities

65%: Design and perform experiments, and analyze the data

20%: Write the manuscripts

10%: Take care of plant growth rooms

5%: Performs other duties as assigned.
