We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic team player capable of supervising the employees and processes within the Underwriting department.

Monitor Queue behavior and maintain consistent service levels set forth by the company
Provide Queue schedule based on call volume
Provide Queue support when needed
Report Queue results for monthly & quarterly operational meetings
Take escalated calls from Sales Agents
Follow-up on issues with Agents and Customers
Assign and delegate new projects as needed including follow-up to ensure tasks are completed
Join and collaborate in UW/Sales calls/communication as needed
Regularly monitor Statewide weather
Issue/Lift Moratoriums when needed
Communicate to all Sales Channels on UW and/or system related updates
Analytical skills to monitor loss ratio performance from a company down to an agency level including developing strategies to identify trends and providing resolution
Assist with carrier & reinsurer audits
Assist in other Underwriting projects as needed
Manage escalation and communication between UW/CS team and sales leaders and agents
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence
Supervise and coach UW support employees on a daily basis to improve their practices and help them grow
Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required.
Computer experience with a variety of applications including Excel and Word and network systems as well as sufficient technological knowledge to facilitate decision-making regarding the direction of the automation systems.
Able to drive and travel as needed. In-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
Must be self-directed and have problem-solving capabilities as well as ingenuity in analyzing and resolving complex problems and/or situations.
Excellent organizational skills and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
