Your Role and Responsibilities
Employee will be responsible for selling IBM AI Applications Supply Chain software products and solutions to customers in an assigned territory in the Consumer & Travel Market North Region. Employee will be accountable to drive revenue growth which is rewarded with a high leveraged compensation plan.
Role includes understanding clients' needs and providing software solutions which will contribute to their success. Territory includes a balance of existing customers and named whitespace accounts. Employee will lead our efforts to increase sales of our Order Management, IBM Blockchain Transparent Supply and IBM Food Trust solutions.
Employee will leverage multiple routes to market including our extensive Business Partner Ecosystem to grow revenue for the brand.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years Enterprise software sales experience with a record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas; Managing complex sales cycles, calling into senior management levels at clients; Selling Supply Chain solutions including Order Management (Sterling or competitive).
Strong Presentation skills
Financial/ Value based Sales -Ability to create quantitative and financial case via ROI and business cases.
Strategic Thinking - Systematically solves problems and anticipates possible customer pain points.
Hunter mentality- ready to go out and find new opportunities; Has a prospecting system and methodology to uncover new opportunities and run targeted campaigns.
Self Starter who works well in remote environment and takes pride of ownership in all aspects of their work.
Collaborative- recognizes the skills needed to win deals and takes the initiative to orchestrate the top resources needed to win. Is an active contributor and collaborator with peers, product management, marketing and worldwide sales teams for continuous improvement.
Sales Hygiene: Regularly update CRM system, forecast accurately.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
IBM Sterling OMS solutions knowledge and competitive landscape, Complex Solution Selling; Strategic Negotiations. History with selling to Enterprise ($1B+ annual revenues) in Northeast states.
Cloud - SaaS knowledge and positioning a plus.
Retail, Food Manufacturing and CPG industry experience a plus.
Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Selling
