ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, hardworking, dependable, a fast learner and knows how to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly reconciliation workpapers
Assist with implementation of company-wide accounting policies and procedures
Help verify, allocate, and prepare general ledger entries for reconciling account balances
Liaison with external auditors for requests and inquiries
Prepare journal entries for close activities
Prepare supporting workpapers for consolidated financial statements
Help analyze and summarize financial information
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
Conduct accounting research as necessary
Perform budget to actual variance analysis
Perform analysis for management reports
Perform analysis for financial statement preparation items that relate to the department
Respond to other department revenue requests as needed
Requirements
4+ year of relevant accounting experience (Big Four experience is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree related to accounting/finance or equivalent work experience
CPA license (or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam) preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with ASC 606 a plus
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Willing to be flexible with hours to communicate with our Australia office
