The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales by securing commitments for recommendations from Healthcare Professionals in Outpatient offices and clinics– such as Wound Clinics/Wound Specialists, Podiatrists, Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists and Orthopedic Surgeons. Typical call points within these offices and clinics include: Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses. Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships within these offices to effectively elevate the importance of nutrition by identifying and providing win-win solutions for using Abbott Nutrition products (i.e. Juven). In addition to obtaining commitments to initiate patient trials and recommendations, it is also vital in this role to drive outpatient use of the targeted product(s) by holding customers accountable to next steps that will ensure compliance and grow retail sales.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Executing sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals
Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute sales direction
Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
Plan and organize to maximize focus and success in top priorities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree
2-4 years of successful proven sales experience
Strong clinical sales ability
Cold-Calling experience Experience building own book of business Strong business acumen
