SHI International Corp. Regional Sales Director - Inside in Austin, Texas

SHI has an exciting leadership opportunity available as a Corp Inside Sales Director who will lead a team of sales managers at SHI Corp.

This position is located in the great city of Austin, Texas. The right candidate is ambitious, career minded and confident in their ability to lead, coach and develop a team of sales managers. The Corp Inside Sales Director will assist their management team as they inspire, develop, organize and execute with the Inside Account Executives. They will conduct meetings, help grow new business, and develop customer relationships. This individual must be highly accountable, positive and eager to learn and develop.

This position will be required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing a professional sales region in a designated area of the country

  • Drive sales strategy and work with Sales Managers to attain gross margin and order quotas

  • Motivate, coach and develop sales managers

  • Manage Sales Manager’s performance

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales expectations

  • Align yourself/your region with the SHI sales methodology

  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to orchestrate useful training for sales teams

  • Coach managers how to effectively communicate/present

  • Coach managers how to forecast

  • Facilitate relationship building between the region and vendor partners

  • Analyze trends and drive execution of the region

  • Work well in a fun and energetic team environment

  • Recruiting/Hiring

  • excellent presentation skills – must have experience presenting to large groups

  • teaching the basic concepts of Professionalism, Sales and Technology

  • Proficient in Excel and other MSFT Office business tools

  • Proficient in sales forecasting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving/organizational/interpersonal skills

  • Ability to negotiate effectively

  • Proven decision-making skills

  • Sales Management experience

  • 18+ months leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
