Fiserv Project Manager, Principal in Austin, Texas

What does a great Project Manager, Principal do?

  • Provide project management/plans for Commercial projects

  • Work with dependencies from other team that are providing API, platform, and architectural input for the project

  • Track progress of project and assist team to align priorities and future efforts

  • Communicate to stakeholder’s progress and status of project

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation

  • Keep a storyline/journal of the project and events that happen during the project timeline

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers

  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Experience with Agile development is a plus

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

• Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Travel required: 40%
