Facebook’s Global Operations team exists to help them.The Risk and Response team responds to real-time crises, proactively identifies and evaluates emerging risks, conducts risk-related investigations, and assesses what we could be doing to best benefit our community. We develop solutions to user issues, protect users by decreasing negative engagement on the site and deliver qualitative and quantitative insight into user behavior.The Supply Capability & Demand Management Program Manager will work across teams in Risk & Response to enable appropriate capacity required to effectively manage and mitigate real time risks and events. This role is responsible for designing and building a dynamic and agile framework that balances real-time critical demand against a limited, high SME workforce to manage risk effectively. The purpose of this role is to mature Risk & Response's management of our most valuable resources - our people - in an increasingly efficient and agile way that smartly adapts to the fast-changing and fluid risk environment we work within. You will work closely with our data and technical teams as well as business stakeholders to plan requirements, manage key milestones and deliverables, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will collaborate with all organizational levels to define the program requirements across varied business and risk areas.
Responsible for collating workforce management requirements across Risk & Response functions to design a more effective and efficient model across our specialized resources
Develop short- and long-term supply and demand models that drive flexibility and agility across our team and expand capabilities to manage risks faster and sooner
Leverage and action Risk & Response data analysis about workflow volumes, workforce efficiency, and other business intelligence
Iterate on models to minimize total costs and inventory and identify areas of opportunity to scale
Establish and utilize best methods in evaluating supply’s ability to meet real-time demand and subsequent tradeoffs
Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks and mitigation options
Prepare, report and present supply and demand recommendations with sound models and logic to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Systems, Business, Operations, related technical disciplines, or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of experience in a program or project management function
Experience with supply chain management, demand planning, agile operations
Demonstrated sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle
Experience collaborating and influencing across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional and iterative process improvement
Master's degree or MBA, ITIL or Agile/Scrum Project Management
Experience shifting between detailed analysis and big picture thinking, customizing communication based on the audience
Experience effectively managing and leading through a continuously evolving environment with dynamic priorities
