Allergan Aesthetics is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to join our team. This position is a field based position and the right candidate can live anywhere in the US. The position will require field time as well as time in our offices in Irvine, CA, Austin, TX, Chicago, Il, and New Jersey.

Sales enablement is about people, operations, and technology and strategically aligning them behind a common goal: Sales Success. It helps the organization streamline sales cycles by improving buyer interactions with better, more relevant sales content and operational processes and equipping sales teams with the tools they need to be more informed and productive sellers at just the right time. This position requires a high degree of partnership and collaboration with leadership and subject matter experts to design enablement programs and solutions that support the business objectives and initiatives

Core pillars of this role includes:

  1. Optimization of technology resources such as CRMs (sales orchestration) and data

  2. Content Development (sales communication)

  3. Talent management (on-boarding, performance analysis, enablement, and coaching)

  4. Customer journey support (buyer journey optimization)

  5. Ongoing process efficiencies (sales and operations collaboration)

  6. Identifying and fixing broken processes and breaking down silos

Role Overview

As the Manager, Sales Force Enablement for Allergan Medical, you will be responsible for collaborating with a cross functional team to develop and execute the enablement strategy. You will work with senior stakeholders within the business to define and establish enablement priorities for the business and to deliver cost savings and efficiencies on the resulting enablement plan. You will assist the Director, Sales Force Enablement with the development and execution of programs and data to enhance the salesperson’s success and drive increased attainment by removing barriers. You will work collaboratively with the operations, marketing, business technology, sales planning and analytics, training, and sales leadership team to ensure successful achievement of revenue goals.

The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of the needs within the sales representative and leadership roles and a proven track record in translating business needs into scalable and impactful enablement. Everything you do is focused on driving scalability and repeatability in enablement and creating an army of committed and empowered representatives and sales leaders that have the right knowledge, skills and confidence to meet and exceed their goals and their customer’s expectations.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Define and refine sales enablement priorities with sales stakeholders

  • Develop, implement, and train the best in class CRM system for the organization

  • Serve as a liaison and advocate for the field and our customers and execute impactful change to improve productivity and customer satisfaction

  • Create data and dashboards to measure enablement strategy KPIs for each business unit

  • Build trusted relationships with field representatives, sales and marketing, operations, training, leadership teams, and customers

  • Serve as a coordinator and facilitator between sales, marketing, operations, business technology, communication and product surveillance

  • Create measurement metrics and reporting for on boarding optimization to reduce ramp time and increase revenue production

  • Coordinate and create content for ongoing enablement programs

  • Develop, update, and manage operational training content



  • BS/BA Degree

  • 5 years sales experience, preferably in the Life Sciences space

  • Training expertise

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

  • Some project management work and/or certifications preferred

  • Ability to work under pressure, highly adaptable and well organized

  • Proven track record in creating, delivering, and training successfully with measurable results in fast paced environments

  • Strong analytical skills with a vision to tell a story with the data to increase sales force utilization

  • Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas into curriculum with a sense of how sales professionals think, operate and absorb training

  • Get it done attitude with a strong sense of team spirit

  • Excellent attention to detail, oral, written and presentation skills, confident communicator with a flair for storytelling

  • Strategic thinker that can see the big picture, innovate and adapt to constant change

  • Working Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
