The AMS Segment Finance Team provides comprehensive financial planning, reporting & analysis to the AMS leadership team. The Financial Operations Analyst will report directly into the AMS Segment Finance Senior Finance Director with regular exposure to the AMS and Finance Executive Leadership. The Financial Operations Analyst will be providing comprehensive planning & analysis, drive the improvement of processes & tools to support decision making, coordinate Close/Planning cadence, and drive key presentation material for Executive Management.
Lead the financial planning process, prepare board presentations and provide insightful analysis to enable clear decision making
Develop monthly reporting packages and Executive KPI/Performance dashboards focusing on key performance indicators to track financial performance vs. Budget and support brand marketing strategies.
Ensure a high level of compliance with Accounting standards e.g. GAAP/IFRS Audit Compliance
Participate in the planning cycle, set up budgets with business teams
Create planning models for better visibility and accuracy
Provides comprehensive and high quality annual plan, forecasting, and business analysis to support decision making (revenue, margin, OPEX, CAPEX, Headcount etc.)
Support VOS Consolidation Team and business leadership by establishing insightful analysis, liaise/work together with Finance leaders
Analyze business results, support decision making through meaningful analytics
Create value add monthly/quarterly/annual metrics and analyze business performance for key stakeholders
Identify process improvement opportunities, drive projects/simplification initiatives for the operating and leadership teams
Mentor/Supervise direct report by providing coaching and feedback to optimize performance. Ensure growth and development of associate through development and execution of robust development plans.
Frequent ad hoc strategic projects are the norm for this role. Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 5-8 years financial work experience, preferably in reporting, accounting or planning and /or equivalent experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with strong business acumen are required in order to effectively interact and influence all levels of management. Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions
Team player: able to work across different teams and contribute to a positive environment
Excellent analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
