ABOUT THE JOB

F45 Training seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to join a growing global Accounting team. This person will be responsible for a wide variety of accounts payable duties that include, but are not limited to, processing a high volume of accounts payable invoices, coding of expenses, tracking of overhead expenses, ensure all payments are processed, set-up of new vendors, adhering to 1099 reporting requirements, and handle client or internal client questions related to accounts payable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts payable processes for accurate, timely and complete processing of all transactions, including purchases orders/check request, invoices, expense reporting, and petty cash

  • Perform end-to-end accounting duties, including review/post journal entries and reconcile/review general ledger accounts

  • Maintain accounting files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with F45 Training’s company policy and GAAP

  • Support accuracy of Accounts Payable related general ledger accounts by ensuring that routine activities are being completed in a timely manner

  • Research, resolve, and communicate invoicing issues, discrepancies, or outstanding balances to business owners, FP&A, management and vendors as needed

  • Manage monthly ACH/wire payments for utilities, credit cards, and other expenses

  • Manage all accounts payable-related reporting, including sales/use tax and 1099

  • Report on F45 Training’s A/P progress and make recommendations, when appropriate

  • Identify and execute optimizations in F45 Training’s A/P areas through process improvement and creating workflow efficiencies, e.g. reduce processing time, improve accuracy and reduce paper-based processes

  • Train other F45 Training’s departments on the submissions of expenses-related items

  • Assist with recruiting, selecting, developing, mentoring and coaching F45 Training’s accounting staff and motivating individual/team performance

  • Duties and responsibilities can grow and change depending on the needs of the business, so be prepared to pivot and take on special projects, as necessary and directed by CFO

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or related field

  • 5+ years of AP and/or general ledger accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of application and practice of GAAP

  • Highly proficient in: MS Office Suite (specifically Excel pivot tables and V lookups) and G Suite and familiarity with automated accounting systems and their application to accounting functions

  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
