Essential Job Functions
Leads opportunity progression from identification to successful closure.
Leads the creation and execution of pipeline expansion to ensure account growth objectives are met or exceeded.
Establishes industry credibility and fosters trust with the clients throughout the sales cycle.
Leads multi-disciplinary teams pursing large, complex opportunities. Assists with RFP responses.
Drives internal account growth and increased performance by generating a team culture that embraces industry/market evolution and encourages innovation and dynamic actions.
Ensures that technical, contractual, administrative and financial policies, procedures and goals are met to ensure adherence to client and company requirements.
Coordinates with other sellers and account managers to leverage resources and solutions to replicate sales and meet growth objectives.
Interfaces directly with clients regularly, advancing opportunities, developing stronger sustained relationships, building new and broader relationships, and generating additional DXC and partner business opportunities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, science or related field preferred.
Seven or more years of experience in complex Federal IT sales and/or account management, preferably Federal Civilian Agencies
Five or more years of experience selling into senior and C-suite line-of-business executives.
Five or more years of experience teaming/partnering with aerospace, defense and Federal SIs and SBs.
Experience in selling technology solutions, including: ITO; Cloud; Security, Applications; Analytics, Engineering and related Consulting Services.
Experience working with corporate/large organization business practices, policies, systems and procedures
Experience working with and developing technology and associated process products and service offerings
Demonstrate and in-depth, current knowledge of Federal Government and Department of Defense market, organizations, business strategies and DXC commercial partner eco-systems.
Current DoD Secret level security clearance or the background and ability to immediately apply for and obtain a DoD security clearance/interim clearance.
Skilled in Sales and Business Development and fostering professional relationships
