Woodforest National Bank ATM Network Consultant - The Woodlands in The Woodlands, Texas

The ATM Network Consultant is responsible for strategic and near term management of the Woodforest National Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM) products and services. This position also assists with the monitoring and reporting of department compliance and performance measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides business units with site analysis for ATM placement and operations for new business opportunities.

  • Ownership and management of overall ATM network Profit/Loss, e.g. income statement, vendor relationships, etc.

  • Development and management of key performance indicators (KPI’s)/metrics for ATM network.

  • Manages ATM network lifecycle, procurement of new ATMs and strategies for ATM replacements.

  • Monitors and analyzes machine status, network performance and system metrics.

  • Provides administrative and project support to the department manager such as monitoring and reporting on department performance measures and regulatory and audit compliance.

  • Manages vendor relationships to ensure adequate acquisition of ATM services and products.

  • Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.

    Competencies Required

  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft network and PC operating systems including working knowledge of ATM remote monitoring software (Triton Connect), current network hardware, protocols, and standards; SQL and programming languages and Windows Server 2003-2008.

  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.

  • Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics. Involving executive management and down through the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications/Experience

  • 3-5 years information technology support service experience.

  • 3-5 years ATM or payment services experience.

  • 1-3 years network or system administration experience.

  • 1-3 years financial services or banking industry experience preferred.

    Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, Finance, or related field; or an equivalent amount of directly related experience.

  • Full-Time

    Supervisory Responsibility

  • None.

    Travel

  • 10% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

    Working Conditions

  • Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
