The Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, is seeking neurohospitalists to join our dynamic team of physicians! In partnership with the Memorial Hermann Hospital System the department offers abundant clinical, academic, and administrative opportunities.

We are specifically looking for board certified/eligible neurologists, who are driven and desirous of being part of a rapidly growing department based at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center.

Position Key Accountabilities:

This employment opportunity is for a neurologist with primary interest in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide adult general inpatient neurology and consult services based at Memorial Hermann Hospital - TMC in Houston, Texas. This is a 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient service with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License; be board certified/eligible and possess a medical degree.

Candidates should possess outstanding clinical, interpersonal and communication skills coupled with excellent administrative and organizational abilities.

Experience as a neurohospitalist is preferred but not required.
