On behalf of our Plano financial services client, seeking a Financial Analyst with experience in investments and bonds. This is a contract to hire opportunity. As a Financial Analyst, you will maintain the investment accounting reporting system on behalf of Advisory and Brokerage clients in an accurate and consistent fashion. This includes writing and running queries on the database for various purposes, preparing billing for advisory and brokerage clients, preparing and distributing monthly accounting reports for clients and troubleshooting for errors on accounting reports. The Financial Analyst will serve as system administrator, maintaining portfolio analytical software and acting as liaison between the help desk and advisory and brokerage services. The Financial Analyst will oversee ALM client billing. This includes tracking billing changes, updating the billing file and providing billing to the accounting department. The Financial Analyst will also act as backup in safekeeping duties when the Safekeeping Operations Specialist is absent. You will also approve trades for credit unions, advisory and brokerage departments. As a Financial Analyst, you will maintain various historical market and industry statistics, client financial and performance records; conduct market and industry analyses to measure performance and trends; assist Investment Advisors in assembling quarterly financial records and reports used in periodic financial assessments and strategic recommendations; perform portfolio simulations for clients to assess market volatility and purchase/sale opportunities; prepare commentary and market data reports for clients. Duties Frequency Trade input into investment accounting system for advisory and brokerage services. Weekly Provide investment accounting reports for advisory and brokerage clients. Bi-Monthly Maintain investment accounting system for advisory and brokerage services; rates/factors/yields, market prices, prepayment types and speeds, accounting methods, exception reports. Daily BondEdge Administrator for Investment Services Department; upload portfolios, model bonds, run reports. Monthly Prepare billing for advisory and ALM departments Monthly III. As Needed Coordinate required SEC compliance for advisory service. Annually Perform portfolio analysis for credit unions. As Needed Maintain various investment services agreements. As Needed
