Roles and responsibilities: responsible for the ongoing administration of employee benefit payments, payroll deductions, payment arrangements, and reconciling vendor statements: 1. Works with benefit vendors to resolve billing issues and address concerns 2. Reconciles benefit-vendor invoices against actual payments/payroll deductions 3. Ensures that employee payments are deposited in a timely manner Job functions: 1. Maintain employee database for employee payments/payroll deductions 2. Track employee payments and receipts 3. Issue credits and refunds to employees and benefit vendors 4. Calculate and determine payment amounts for employee premiums 5. Send out vendor payments 6. Work collaboratively with human resource department to resolve employee benefit issues The above statements are not a complete list of all roles and responsibilities. Employee may perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor. Minimum qualifications/education: 1. High school diploma or ged. 2. Prior bookkeeping and accounting experience Preferred qualifications/education: 1. Associates degree in accounting 2. Accounts receivable / payable experience 3. Benefits experience Additional specifications must maintain confidentiality must be proficient in ms office suite must abide by all safety work rules and actively participate in the risk management program.
