Current Need

We are seeking a Scrum Master responsible for delivery of SAP BW/BI system functionality that support key business data and reporting requirements

Position Description

The Scrum Master is responsible for delivery of SAP BW/BI system functionality that support key business data and reporting requirements. The candidate ensures that the team delivers agreed upon work products within the timeframes and quality characteristics. In this role, the Scrum Master continuously improves delivery of services, achieve Scrum Team’s performance targets while maintaining adherence to defined development process, workflow, methodology and technology standards. He also needs to effectively manage Scrum team members – sets clear objectives, provides coaching and mentoring, addresses performance, facilitates resolution of issues. In this role, the Scrum Master shapes and orchestrates the BI & Analytics programs demonstrating deep and balanced knowledge of both business process and technical architecture to help guide team to successful outcomes. This position will assume the financial management knowledge to ensure team’s financials are monitored and completed per financial schedule.

Minimum Requirements

6 years specific systems experience including 5 years managerial experience

Critical Skills

  • Background of IT technologies and customer solutions

  • Demonstrated success in managing a team of technical resources

  • Strong SAP experience with practical knowledge of BW and HANA

  • Knowledge of HANA native modeling

  • Knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects etc.

  • Knowledge of Big Data Analytics using Hadoop

  • Ability to shape and orchestrate the BI & Analytics program

  • Technical skills for understanding the development, configuration, implementation and support of business solutions

  • Process knowledge and process methodology background

  • Experience managing technical team in a cross-functional environment to deliver against project goals

  • Experience working in a large-scale environment

  • Experience in software or infrastructure project delivery required

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Strong customer orientation and ability to deliver against project goals

  • Highly organized and an ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Project management skills with preferred experience with Agile Methods and Scrum

  • Experience in a Scrum Master or equivalent Scrum team role4 year experience in technology project planning, stakeholder management, issue / risk management, and basic understanding of iterative delivery

  • Agile certifications (CSM or PSM I) and SAFe Agilist experience preferred

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Strong collaboration and customer-focused skills with an ability to create visible value

  • Experience in managing Financial processes: Ensure team’s financial reporting (time tracking, accruals, invoices, forecasts) are completed per financial processes.

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
