Eaton Corporation Multi-Family Sales Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas

Eaton’s Residential Wiring Devices Division has an opening for Multi-Family Sales Specialist. This position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility.

Position Summary

The Multi Family Sales Specialist has to effectively build and establish professional relationships with customers, Eaton field sales engineer and distributor partners by having a thorough understanding of residential market, by communicating product knowledge effectively, and by providing timely responses and resolution to customer issues and requests. In addition, this role utilizes electronic tools (i.e. BidManager, CRM Software, Excel, Word, and Project Management software) to pre and post-sales support to field sales engineers, distributor partners and customers. Establish, develop, and nurture customer relationships to strengthen partnerships and achieve long term objectives. The primary functions include; providing quotation/pre-sale support and post-sale project management of multifamily projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage individual Multi Family projects and coordinate with the appropriate plants and distributor partners.

  • Assist field sales and distributor partner personnel in interpreting customers’ specifications drawings and schematics.

  • Proactively communicate customer needs to the product lines

  • Be available for daily support inquiries from the customers, field sales and marketing.

  • Achieve sales and market share growth targets

  • Proactively use competitive information to highlight advantages of Eaton Corporation

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical industry

Position Criteria

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and customer satisfaction

  • Capable of planning and executing presentations on specific products and services to internal and external customers in order to gain recognition and customer acceptance

  • Knowledge of major competitors in the market and their alignment with distributors and major contractors

  • Poses advanced computer skills in Advanced word processing, Spreadsheet, Vista, and Bidmanager

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to achieve superior proactive project order management and customer service
