Work You ll Do Work within an engagement team to identify business requirements, assist with requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing, training, support procedures and implementations. Perform technology assessments and develop strategic recommendations. Participate in aspects of full life cycle implementations. Build innovative tools and processes to optimize technology solutions for clients. Perform current state IT infrastructure assessments to improve operational efficiency and data management capabilities, including utilizing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and virtualization to identify opportunities for storage optimization, data protection, and infrastructure improvement and rationalization. Participate in data merger activities for M&A transactions, including developing and implementing applications, data infrastructure, and process migration and integration plans. Document business continuity and disaster recovery management processes to identify risks and mitigation strategies and ensure continuity of business during large scale IT transformations. Plan, design and implement enterprise virtualization environments, including VMware and MS HyperV. Design and implement storage solutions for applications in Dell EMC and HP Storage, including storage provisioning based on industry best-practices. Document and monitor metrics regarding virtual, storage and backup components, and data replication relationships for the purpose of capacity planning. Generate KPI reports, performance reports, and health reports of infrastructure using Dell EMC Phosphere, Solarwinds Hyper9 and VMware VOPs manager. Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, CIS, MIS or a related field. Must have two years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.
