Will provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for children and adults.
Minimum Education and Experience
Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders, Psychology/Counseling, Speech-Language Pathology, Special Education or related field of study or equivalent education and clinical work experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with children with various communication disorders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administer state-of-the-art communication diagnostic measures; integrate & interpret findings; provide information, training & recommendations to family, physicians, educators & other professionals; develop & provide individualized intervention or small-group intervention for toddlers, school-age children & adults; supervise students in training.
Supervise graduate students in the Communication Disorders program; other duties as assigned.
Must have or be eligible for a Texas license to practice speech-language pathology.
Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association or be a Clinical Fellow in Speech- Language Pathology or eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year in speech-language pathology.
