Who we’re looking for
The TFS-BI Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Hyperion Operations Consultant . The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the SME, and as a System Administrator for Financial applications that have SOX, ITGC and other compliance requirements. Familiarity of those activities is a must. This person will work closely with Onshore-Offshore team of 20 consultant contract resources supporting these financial reporting operations.
What you’ll be doing
BI Subject Matter Expertise
Provides valuable expertise and in-depth SME knowledge as a System Administrator for all BI TFS SOX Tier 1 Platinum and Tier 1 Platinum Hyperion Financial and Reporting Leads and helps coordinate technical and infrastructure issue resolution(s). Security SME knowledge that helps in AD creation, bulk load processes, Sec1 page creation, Aveksa automation with InSight. Remains current with all BI Global application tools, technologies currently in use, and look out for next versions for upgrade purposes. Prepare and lead presentations to communicate enterprise and program level strategies for BI EDM related activities for all levels of BI/DW/Customer Analytics Management to drive EDM processes to completion and build them into everyday activities Off-Shore Support- Collaboration
Together with Global Operations Manager, oversees onsite and offshore consultant teams to manage SLA’s of Incidents, Tasks and Service Requests Improve operations status reporting in terms of consistency, relevant content and timeliness Reviews DR Plan, and ensures periodic DR testing for financial and reporting applications with proper documentation Reports out to BI Operations Management and Sr. BI and EDM Management on successes and deficiencies associated with Environment, DR, EDM and other operations related tasks Relationship Building and Liaise with BTS (IT) and Vendors
Cultivate/strengthen relationships and act as a liaison with D&E, Service Management, Information Security, Network Security, Integration Services, DeskSide Support, Service Desk, and partner with IT Operations- Database, UNIX/LINUX, Windows, Storage, Web, etc. teams for DW/Global BI project support and infrastructure needs.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS
Experience supporting financial lending institutions from an IT perspective with SOX and SEC financial calendars plus SOX/SEC, Privacy, Information Security, regulatory policies, laws, standards, encryption and non-encryption, record retention and litigation/ tax/audit hold requirements and processes
Working and ongoing knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Interactive Reporting
Experience working in variety of data platforms including: Oracle OBIEE and Databases, IBM Watson Explorer, /Informatica Pure Data Analytics NPS and database/ appliances, R, Clarify, SQL, LINUX, MFT and any other form or DBA, SSO, Pure Data Analytics NPS What we’ll bring
