IBM Product Marketer in AUSTIN, Texas
Product Marketing Professionals are responsible for defining the marketing strategy, value proposition and marketing plan for an IBM product or portfolio of products. They guide the execution of the plan to ensure it delivers profitable growth and positive brand awareness for IBM.
Professionals in this role work closely with Offering Management teams to understand the capabilities and differentiators of IBM’s technology. They understand IBM’s brand strategy and values. And they continuously seek a deeper understanding of their target buyer and industry dynamics. By combining these elements, the Product Marketing Professional:
· Creates a compelling, market oriented point of view supported by leadership proof points and evidence;
· Plans marketing routes and strategies, and leads execution of the plan;
· Works with other professionals to turn the value proposition and plan into effective marketing content, digital, and face-to-face marketing tactics and sales enablement programs;
· Interprets metrics routinely, to understand and optimize execution and the client digital experience.
Product Marketing Professionals seek to become active and visible in the market, applying their subject matter expertise externally with clients and business partners, IBM sellers and industry analysts. They work with new and existing clients to position their product and client business outcomes at major IBM and third party events.
